Dawnie & Corey at Cordell Hall, Suffolk

Corey is enlisted in the United States Air Force he is currently a Technical  Sergeant.   He is stationed at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas.  One of these medals is for Desert Storm.

He has been in the Air force for 19 years and is looking to retire next march…

During his 19 years he was a K-9 Police Officer for 15years,

During his career he has been stationed in Alaska, Maryland working K-9 Police and had clearance for Air Force one, when Clinton was President.  Little Rock Arkansas

He has had two tours in the UK at Mildenhall and Lakenheath. 

He has had TDY’s to Africa, Porta Rico, Saudia Arabia to name but a few.

He is now currently working as the facilities Manager for RSO at Randolph AFB.

The large white one on the couch is Shadow, now at 6 years old he is 120 lb German Shepherd

Spirit is 3 years old she is German Shepherd Cross! *(she’s Dawnies baby)

Chase the one on the floor is 4 years old she is Husky Cross ! She is a character.

 

This is a picture of Chase when she was about 2 – 3 months old, BUT Spirit looked exactly like her… they look like teddy Bears…

But much more High Maintenance !!!!

Ice Storm in Texas

Dawn and Corey live near to San Antonio in Texas. San Antonio is 30 North This is not too far from the Tropics.

On the 16th January 2007 an Ice storm hit the area, causing many roads to be closed. Businesses and Schools were shut down. The big problem was freezing conditions and rain. When the rain hits the frozen roads, trees and power lines it freezes to the surface. The trees look very pretty. The roads get very dangerous and the power lines get so heavy they break and cause power cuts or outages.
